Projects in the UK

The Health Education and Learning (HEAL)

The Health Education and Learning (HEAL) project involves providing participants with the tools, knowledge and support needed to take ownership of their emotional, physical and mental well-being. Bespoke Community Health Education workshops are designed to empower communities by providing opportunities for learning, sharing experiences, and promoting a culture of wellness and disease prevention.

The Park Village Football Development Programme

The Foundation's partnership with the New Park Village Football Academy's 'Girls Allowed Football Programme' aims to provide young girls with equal access to football and the benefits that come with it. Through our collaboration, we aim to create a fun and safe environment where girls can receive quality coaching and develop their skills on the field.

In addition to promoting health and fitness at an early age, our programme also has a strong focus on personal development. We believe that participation in football can help young girls develop important social skills, such as teamwork, communication, and leadership.

The Grow It and Know It Community Gardening Project

The 'Grow It and Know It Community Garden' promotes healthier communities by bringing people together to grow and learn about food, encourage physical activity, and provide a space for improved mental health and well-being. It is also a space for social interaction and connection, which can help combat feelings of isolation and loneliness, bringing people together to pursue shared interests in gardening and healthy living.

Tech-Connect

Tech-Connect is an initiative that aims to bridge the digital divide by equipping older people and other vulnerable groups with the skills they need to enter the digital world. As healthcare becomes increasingly digitalised, for example, Tech-Connect provides a pathway for these groups to access vital health resources online. Through comprehensive training in digital literacy, the program aims to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to reap the benefits of the digital age, regardless of their age or background. We are committed to building a more inclusive and connected society that empowers individuals to take control of their health and well-being through digital means.

Project in Ghana

The 'Orange Girl Project'

Period Poverty is a global issue and affects millions of women and girls who don’t have access to safe and affordable sanitary products. The Foundation is working in partnership with the ‘Orange Girl Project,’ which manufactures re-usable packs of sanitary pads for girls in rural and underserved communities in Ghana. In addition to providing resources and strengthening abilities, practices, and processes, the Foundation will assist in purchasing the machines necessary to scale up production. It will help raise public awareness about the issue and educate more young girls who may be at risk of various infections due to their inability to access affordable and safe sanitary pads.
