Through Community Health Workshops, our Health Education and Learning (HEAL) project empowers individuals with the knowledge and support necessary to make informed and healthy lifestyle choices. At the heart of the project is Miss Ida, a relatable and entertaining character who captivates audiences through theatrical performances. She shares essential health messages in a way that resonates with everyone, helping to reduce the risk of preventable health issues.
Miss Ida will appear at indoor and outdoor events in Sandwell, Birmingham and Wolverhampton throughout 2025. Email jmblaney5@gmail.com for more information or call 0121 574 1710.
We partner with Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer to run our HerTone project - a community initiative creating breast prostheses in a beautiful range of skin tones for women after mastectomy. Designed to restore confidence and celebrate diversity, the project brings women together to craft each piece by hand with care and dignity. Working from home and meeting monthly, volunteers share skills, friendship, and purpose while helping others rebuild their sense of self. HerTone is more than craftsmanship - it’s compassion in action, ensuring every woman feels represented, seen, and supported on her journey of recovery.

Our 'Grow It and Know It Community Garden' promotes healthier communities. It brings people together to grow and learn about food, encourages physical activity and provides a space for improved mental health and well-being. Each year, we cultivate our produce, which is shared among volunteers and donated to the local church food bank.
Working with the Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, we welcome individuals recovering from mental health challenges who express a sense of accomplishment growing their own food and feeling a connection to nature.
The garden also helps combat isolation and loneliness. Our therapeutic space promotes relaxation and connection through hands-on activities, contributing to a healthier, happier lifestyle.

Tech-Connect is an initiative that aims to bridge the digital divide by equipping older people and other vulnerable groups with the skills they need to enter the digital world. As healthcare becomes increasingly digitalised, for example, Tech-Connect provides a pathway for these groups to access vital health resources online. Through comprehensive training in digital literacy, the program aims to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to reap the benefits of the digital age, regardless of their age or background. We are committed to building a more inclusive and connected society that empowers individuals to take control of their health and well-being through digital means.
